Soror Gantt’s “Purses for Life Project (P4L)”

Soror Marlo Gantt Launches Pursesforlife.org….

The Purses for Life Project (P4L) was founded in January, 2012 by Soror Marlo Gantt, as a legacy project developed during her work with Momentum Education, NYC.  Since 2012, she has partnered successfully with Crime Victims Treatment Center of Mount Sinai St. Lukes’s Hospital and Mount Sinai Roosevelt Hospital, providing over 350 purses for their clients.
In 2014-15, she partnered with Transfiguration School in lower Manhattan, NY Administration for Children Services and Jacobi Medical Center to sponsor donor drives.  Over 500 purses were collected and donated to Family Justice Centers in NYC and to the Social Services department of Jacobi Medical Center for their clients.
Soror Gantt is a proud member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc., Kappa Epsilon Zeta Chapter, in the Bronx, NY, who has also partnered with Soror Gantt to help promote and support this important community service project.
